  • I am spraying infected trees for pine bark beetles. Does the surfacant help to adhere the insecticide to the bark or just wet the surface of the tree. Does it help to prevent rain from washing the pesticide off?

    The functions of this product are described on the label and in the product description. The label states the following:

    J&M Surfactant improves performance of active spray ingredients by giving them more uniform distribution and better wetting of the plant surface. Lower surface tension of the tank mix allows spray droplets to spread upon contact Increased contact area drives pesticide actives into the plant faster.
