Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
How often should this be applied to outdoors areas? Is this harmful to to plants and grass?
The label for EcoVia MT says that for Mosquito and Tick control, the diluted product should be applied every 30 days. Although there are instructions for use in the control of flies, the label does not give instructions on when to reapply the product so we are unable to recommend a time frame for when it is safe to reapply it.
The label also gives some instructions and precautions for use on plants.
One page 1 it states: "Product has not shown phytotoxicity in testing when used as directed, but all plant types have not been tested, so if concerned about particular plant sensitivity, test treat a small area first and wait 48 hours to determine if burning occurs."
Also on page 1: "Do not apply product to food, feed, plants grown for food, or plants that are sensitive to oils."
However, this product is rated to be used on grassy areas and plants, brushes, shrubs, and trees, so using this product according to guidelines should not damage the plants.
