Does this work against moths on boxwood shrubs (boxwood moths)?
Yes, Caterpillar Killer Spray with Bt can be effective against box tree moth larvae (caterpillars). Since the active ingredient is Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki (Btk), it targets caterpillars after they feed on treated foliage, making it a good choice for young box tree moth larvae. It is not effective against adult moths, eggs, or pupae.
For best results, apply the product when the caterpillars are small and thoroughly cover both the outside and inside of the boxwood foliage, as the larvae often feed deep within the plant. Repeat applications may be needed during periods of active feeding or after heavy rainfall.
Read and follow the product label before use.
