Southern Ag's Chelated Liquid Iron Fertilizer is formulated for the purpose of correcting and preventing the yellowing and slow growth of foliage due to iron deficiency in flowers, shrubs, trees, vegetables and lawns.



Have you noticed yellowing of foliage and reduced growth among your plants?  Does your lawn have a yellowed, mottled appearance?  

 

Your plants and lawn may be suffering from a condition called Chlorosis, an iron deficiency.  Iron is essential to the formation of chlorophyll, which is what gives plants, grasses and trees its rich, green color.

 

You can improve the appearance and health of your lawn and foliage by applying Southern Ag's Chelated Liquid Iron.

  • I have a young naval orange tree and a mandarin orange tree. Both have yellowish leaves. (I live in San Diego, CA.) Because I have a dog, I would like to use this iron mixed with water and pour it on the ground rather than spray the leaves. Also, I don't see any specific instruction about proportions listed here. Can you tell me how much of your Southern Ag Chelated Iron to use - instructions? I'm planning on giving the trees some iron now and then fertilizer in the spring. Thank you.

  • Should this be mixed with water

    Yes, this is a concentrate and must be diluted with water.  The amount of liquid iron to use is based on the plants and/or application area.  Please check the label before using. 

  • I have a maple tree that has yellow leaves. Do I spray the ground or the tree?

    To apply to trees, please apply this product onto the leaves of the tree itself.
