I have a young naval orange tree and a mandarin orange tree. Both have yellowish leaves. (I live in San Diego, CA.) Because I have a dog, I would like to use this iron mixed with water and pour it on the ground rather than spray the leaves. Also, I don't see any specific instruction about proportions listed here. Can you tell me how much of your Southern Ag Chelated Iron to use - instructions? I'm planning on giving the trees some iron now and then fertilizer in the spring. Thank you.
The instructions on how to use Chelated Liquid Iron are found on the label. The label can be found under the Labels tab on the product page, or here.
Should this be mixed with water
Yes, this is a concentrate and must be diluted with water. The amount of liquid iron to use is based on the plants and/or application area. Please check the label before using.
I have a maple tree that has yellow leaves. Do I spray the ground or the tree?
To apply to trees, please apply this product onto the leaves of the tree itself.
