Description

Barricade 4F Syngenta is a pre-emergent herbicide offering low rate, season-long control of over 30 broadleaf and grassy weeds that include goosegrass, Poa annua and crabgrass. Containing the active ingredient Prodiamine, it prevents weeds from continuing to grow and stops the development of new seeded weeds.


Applications can be applied as early as January and just one application will allow it to last the whole season.  All applications must be made before the targeted weeds germinate; Barricade 4FL will not control weeds after they have already emerged.  This product will not stain landscape features such as fences.

  • Season-long control of every key turf-damaging white grub species.
  • Season-long control of caterpillars including black cutworms, sod webworms and fall armyworms.
  • Excellent billbug and annual bluegrass weevil control.
  • Flexibility to allow rainfall to move the product into the soil or irrigate after application.
  • No known adverse effects on beneficial and non-target organisms including earthworms and honeybees.
