Description

Quintessential with H-Value Technology alters the formulation of quinclorac in a way that improves absorption of the product into the plant. That means faster activity and higher rate load in the targeted weed, as well as improved performance in drought stress or rainfast situations. And unlike any other herbicide on the market, Quintessential demonstrates improved control of crabgrass at all growth stages, including the problematic 3-5 tiller stage. Quintessential will be the essential tool for combatting crabgrass and other troublesome turf weeds.

Key Benefits:

  • Controls crabgrass including the mid-tiller stage of growth
  • Unique, patent-pending formulation powered by H-Value Technology, a proprietary performance additive that increases efficacy
  • Enhanced drought stress and rainfast performance
  • Enhanced absorption by foliage and roots and transported throughout the plant
  • Stunted grasses exhibit chlorosis, gradual reddening, and necrosis followed by death

*HomeandGardenSupply.com always recommends reading the entire product label before use, and following all necessary safety precautions, mixing instructions and proper application methods.

Quintissential Herbicide has several restriction on to what grass and in what conditions it can be applied on. A full list of restrictions and precautions can be found on the label here, but these are notable points I think might be relevant:

Page 4: "DO NOT apply within 4 weeks after seedling emergence of Kentucky bluegrass, creeping bentgrass, fine fescue blends, and perennial ryegrass. "

Page 7 of the label also lists the resistancies of several species of turfgrass.

  • Will this product kill lawn grasses

No, this product is permitted for use on lawns residential or commercial. Please read the label to make sure it's safe to work on the type of grass it'll be used on.
