Description

Monterey Turflon Ester Herbicide is a selective post-emergent herbicide that is recommended for the control of actively growing bermudagrass, kikuyu grass, and broadleaf weeds in cool-season turfgrasses such as fescue, ryegrass, and bluegrass.

To use, apply during warm weather, from early spring through fall, when weeds are actively growing. Broadleaf weeds germinate at different times. Only emerged weeds present at the time of application will be controlled. When making applications to mature plants or hard to control species, use higher rates of the herbicide. Application during drought conditions may provide less than desirable results.

Key Features:

  • Effective post-emergence control of more than 25 broadleaf weeds, including ground ivy, wild violet and oxalis.
  • Can be tank-mixed with labeled turf herbicides for improved efficacy of most summertime, hard-to-control weeds throughout the year.
  • Herbicide is designed for use on cool-season grass.
  • Easy to use.
  • One pint of turflon ester covers up to 20, 000 Square feet of lawn.
