Advion Ant Gel Bait is specifically formulated to be attractive to all major pest species of ants such as Acrobat, Argentine, Big-headed, Carpenter, Cornfield, Crazy, Field, Ghost, Harvester*, Honey, Little Black, Odorous house, Pavement, Pharaoh*, Pyramid, Red Imported Fire Ant*, Rover, Thief, and Whitefooted ant. (*Advion Ant Gel is effective at killing Pharaoh ants, foraging red imported fire ants and harvester ants.)

 

Advion Ant Gel contains the active ingredient, indoxacarb, a non-repellent insecticide that will help eliminate ants within days of applying the gel, according to the package use directions.  The translucent, no odor, non-staining formulation maintains its integrity for extended periods. This allows ants to consume more bait over an extended time period, resulting in complete control of the entire infestation.

 

In addition, Advion Ant Gel Bait is one of only a few insecticides to be classified as "Reduced Risk" by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

  • trying to find something that ONLY kills ants - will this kill the good honey bees too or only ants?

    No, this should not attract or kill bees.

Love the ant bait

Our pest control guy recommended this ant bait and said we would save $110 a year if we used the ant bait gel …he was exactly right!!! It works great. Ants always come back after a few weeks. I put the bait in strategic locations again…within two days they are gone!

Advion Ant Gel Bait came highly recommended from a friend who has been in the exterminating business for over 20 years. I told them it was spring ant season again, but they couldn't make it to our house to treat it for two weeks or more being so overbooked. They recommended Advion Ant Gel Bait. It was so easy to apply, and the tips provided in the package directed the gel where I wanted it to go. Within MINUTES the ants began to gather around where I placed the bait! By the evening of the first day of bait placement, very little to almost no activity was seen. The next day, saw one ant. I'm so glad I bought this product. Great for any homeowner that wants to DIY!

Working so far!

This is the best ant bait yet. It appears to have killed the ants in a nest between our walls. With one application, we have been essentially without ants for a week.
