Step 2: Apply to Compost: Pour the solution directly onto your compost pile, bin, or tumbler. Be sure to apply it over the surface area and into the layers for best coverage. Step 3: Turn or Mix the Pile: After applying, turn or stir the compost to help distribute the microbes and bring in oxygen. This step is key to encouraging aerobic decomposition and faster breakdown. Step 4: Keep Moist, Not Soaked: Maintain a moisture level similar to a wrung-out sponge. Add water as needed during dry conditions to keep microbial activity thriving. Step 5: Reapply as Needed: Reapply the Compost Starter every 1 to 2 weeks, especially when adding new materials like kitchen scraps, leaves, or grass clippings.
