Description

 

217C's unique formula works by providing a barrier which is harmless to the plant, but fatal to the mites. Spider mites destroy plant cells by sucking out their contents and 217C unique formula works by providing a barrier which is harmless to the plant, but fatal to the mites. 

 

217C kills the spider mites eggs and kills the life cycle by coating the eggs with an oily shield that blocks respiration to the egg; therefore no hatching will occur, they will just dry out.

 

217C is made up of 100% pure rosemary botanical extracts highly water soluble. The botanical extracts are all food grade GRAS (generally recognized as safe when used as directed) materials, that are fully biodegradable, and not toxic to animals. It is exempt from EPA registration under minimum risk FIFRA section 25(b). It can be used on a wide variety of plants, fruits, and vegetables.

  • Hydroponic plants & most flowers grow with grow lamps and /or direct sunlight…but 217c mite control states don’t use with grow lamps or sunlight. Not quite understanding this at all- maybe this is for use on artificial plants in a dark room? What products can be used for plants that are alive and grow in sunlight or under grow lamps?

    The manufacturer's label is a bit confusing.  It means that the product should not be applied while the grow lamps are "on" or while the plants are under direct sunlight.  The product could be applied when there is indirect light, shade, etc.



  • Can I use 217c along with SNS 209? Im having a serious spider mite issue. also, I read that the strength of 209 may need to be increased until I can get them in better control? Please advise.

    Unfortunately, 217c and 209 are not compatible. 217c can be mixed with SNS-244c and SNS-PC. 209 can be mixed with SNS-203, SNS-604a, SNS-604b, SNS-PC, or SNS-DC.
